10th grade has started for Julie. She sees her friends again. Her friend Kasey is glad to see her. Her friend Jake, is not. He is miserable because of his grandfather's death. His sister, Rose, thinks he is miserable for other reasons. She thinks something inside him changed. Also, their bus driver is a creep. Julie thinks Jake and the bus driver have a connection.
