Now that the trials of The Dark are behind her, Enna finds that her responsibilities have grown. She isn't too worried about it, after all, her powers were growing and she now had plenty of people to rely on. But now that the shadows of the forest's past are put behind her, Enna finds herself entering into a whole new type of battle. Can she make the inherently combative races of monsters together under her rule? She wishes things to go smoothly and without a fight, but that isn't the 'monster way'. In the end, Enna might find that she has to leave more of her humanity behind her in order to protect the world she was trying to grow here, in a land filled with monsters.
