What they don't realise is they're just contributing to already excessive abuse and dark thoughts. Carlos' homelife is among the worse on the Isle- his mother isn't just evil like practically everyone else trapped but she's deranged to a much higher extreme, willing to abuse him in ways even villans would find distasteful.
