There are six guardians, six protectors of the kingdom of Mélange. They were created when the world was being plagued by evil. They were made to seal the evil away and protect Mélange from ever being overrun by evil again. Ferras is the guardian of the forest, dedicated to the shadows the forest creates. When he makes a choice that sets the evil he was supposed to guard free, he has a lot more on his hands than just protecting the forest. He is tasked with fixing his mistakes and seal the evil once more before it is too late. That is easier said than done. With the evil plaguing his mind and the other guardians discouraging him, how will he do it? Does he even want to do it? He just doesn't know anymore . . .
