Ink Comyet, a son of an artist and the royal advisor. One day, he goes into the forest at night which is said to be dangerous. There he meets a boy around his age, named Error. This boy is annoying but strangely nice to Ink. However Error's life is that of a mysterious. Despite all of this, Ink feels himself slowly fall in love with the annoying boy in the forest.

Error and Ink don't talk that much, but they don't fight either. Ink kept Paperjam a secret from everyone, and revealed it to his most trusted friends first. After that, everything begins changing.
