He hears a total of three voices who all taunt him almost every chance they get. One voice, who happens to be his alter, has earned the name Blurryface. Tyler has struggled with the voices and Blurryface as long as he can remember. They were at their worst a few years ago, calmed down, and are now starting to get bad again. Tyler and Josh are thrown into the depths of hardships and impossible feats when they discover the dark secrets of DEMA, eerie letters, the sacrifices that must be made, and the "blood-thirsty lions" everybody has been whispering about for so long. *completed 12-26-18*

Josh has never been alone. He has been lonely sometimes, but there was always someone he could reach out to. His parents. His brother and sisters. His closest friends. Or most importantly, his best friend Tyler. But none of them are here anymore, for a reason only Josh seems to understand, and he now has to face the reality of life on his own. And it was fine, really, until some nice looking brown haired girl decided she would be his plus-one on the roadtrip of the rest of his life. [Ongoing] Started: June 5th, 2017

Josh and Tyler have gone through a lot in high school - kidnapping, superpowers, you name it. So it's a relief when, after all is done, they manage to enjoy a summer filled with laughter, music and friendships. But they're in college now, and despite the special bond that links them, the boys seem to drift apart... and it doesn't help that Josh spends a lot of time with the new girl in town either, as words of a suicidal wave make their way onto campus.

{A Trench Story} "You stopped talking in your youth to protect yourself, didn't you? But don't forget that you are a Bandito now. You and your voice are safe now. Well, safe-ish." Mary "Mute Mary" Peters was well known in the city of Dema for being the youngest child to ever be brought to the city. The Bishops didn't want to bring the child into the city, but Mary's mother, a single mother, wasn't coming without her baby, so Mary got the rare experience of growing up inside the city's walls. Originally a vivacious child, Mary went mute at the age of six after a supposed Bandito sighting, and she spent the rest of her childhood unheard, out of sight, and generally out of mind. But when she sees that the Banditos are in Dema again, most likely for yet another rescue mission involving famed FPE Tyler Joseph, she silently joins their ranks and leaves the city with them. In Trench, Mary, now going by the name Charli, found all sorts of things she never thought possible: freedom, life, an abundance of the color yellow, an actual cheetah, and a vulture that could talk. Charli was safe to talk in Trench, but after so many years of silence, she found herself unable to, and so even once she became a Bandito, she stayed mostly to herself, although a single choice did give her the respected label of "Baldito". In spite of this, her muteness led her to be pretty alone, or as alone as someone in Trench can get. But things change when she meets Jenna, Tyler's wife, and suddenly, Charli isn't so alone. At least, until Tyler escapes Dema yet again and the Bishops come for him. Charli made a choice. When the Bishops came for Tyler, she instead exposed herself and let them take her back. If they couldn't get the FPE, they accepted getting the Dema Baby. And it was then as she was being dragged back to Dema with the cliffs of Trench surrounding her that she spoke for the first time in so many years.

Welcome to Trench. In the lowest reaches of a barren world of grey and neon, there is a city called Dema, surrounded by walls and controlled by nine Bishops. There, children and adults of all ages are taught to perform with efficiency and obedience. There is no way out - but why would they want to leave? They have shelter, food, clothes, and most importantly, consistency. Two young men dream of something outside of Dema. They are forced to keep quiet about their dreams and dim the light in their eyes, for if they are caught with thoughts like these, they will surely be published. It would be easier to stay and conform, like everyone else.
