A sandstorm traps Legend and Time in a cavern, where the two have a bit of a heart-to-heart. Time decides it's only right to share something with Legend. Urbosa was many things, but even she could not halt the sands of fate. When a dying Hylian mother entrusts her infant son to her, begging on her last breath to raise him as her own, her Gerudo pride could not possibly deny her final request. Link, despite being a male, would be raised Gerudo. And Urbosa would make sure her son would be the strongest warrior of them all. (We hit Linked Universe eventually, but the first bit is definitely just BotW.)

When a desperate prayer from a frightened king reveals a magic that should never have existed, Link ends up suffering the consequences. Trapped as a divine sword for three hundred years, he never expected to have another chance at life. Now somehow sent back two hundred years, to a fallen kingdom that should've been thriving, Link must defeat Calamity Ganon with his own two hands. And maybe... just maybe, he might get his chance for revenge. M for violence

After a furious showdown with the King of All Evil, Princess Zelda tells Link that she is responsible for dragging him into such a mess. She tells him that she wants to send him back to relive his lost childhood, but Link makes a bold decision that will change the outcome of the terrible fate that was to be bestowed upon him. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my second main story. If you haven't already, read my story "What Comes After," the story of what happens to the Hero of Time after Majora's Mask. There are a lot of references to it in this, so I'd recommend reading that first. Anyway, enjoy!
