[THIS IS A REWRITE OF THE ORIGINAL FIGHT OR FLIGHT] [My writing has changed through the years and I wanted to write one of my favorite shorter stories again, so this is the 2024 rewrite of a 2016 fic] Trafalgar Law has never been one for hights. Hell, he had never even been able to live above ground level. So, of course, the one time he has to fly for work the plane crashes and strands him on a deserted island. His worst fears realized, he has to find a way to trust a man he only just met and maybe, just maybe, survive. Which instinct would you choose to follow? Fight Or Flight?

Catorce de febrero, día de San Valentín, la fecha de los enamorados. Esa misma fecha tienes la oportunidad de escontrar a tu pareja destinada, esa pareja que la Diosa Luna había escogido para acompañarte. Las señales son claras, solo basta con una mirada para saber que la encontraste, pero solo se revela en esa fecha, no otro día y si por azares del destino no supiste diferenciarla, tendrás que esperar el siguiente año... Si es que tienes suerte. O al menos eso es lo que muchos afirman y aseguran. Pero... ¿Realmente es la Diosa Luna la causante de esto? O... ¿Hay alguien más detrás de todo ello?

La abstinencia lo estaba haciendo delirar. Tan grave era el caso, que comenzó a sentir algo por un ¿Ciervo? Aunque no sabía exactamente si se trataba de un efecto secundario de la última dosis de droga que tuvo o si fue a causa de aquel hongo que había consumido o si realmente aquel animal se había transformado frente a él ¿En un humano?

"You screamed like you were being murdered," Jeonghan said flatly. "I thought I was, I was being haunted," Seungcheol snapped. "There were KNOCKS." Joshua smirked. "Big scary alpha. Afraid of the dark." A blackout, a prank gone wrong, and four soaked idiots in one apartment. A contract. A lie. One year of pretending. "I need a fake fiancé." "Absolutely not." "One year." "...Define fake." "No feelings," Jeonghan warned. joshua scoffed. Bad idea. Worse decisions. And a relationship that was never supposed to feel real. What could possibly go wrong?

Joshua, a physics major in college trying to make it through his first year but unfortunately his calculus skills are at doubt. To cover up for the loss he has to take up extra classes and unfortunately he ends up in chemistry with the one and only Professor Yoon. Yoon Jeonghan, a chemistry professor in the Seoul University of arts and science was nothing but a mean, rude, hot jerk. Some would go to the lengths of calling him a sadist. Having to be stuck in his class was the worst nightmare for any student from the university. Yet there were some who endured it just to be under his Handsome presence. Joshua hates Jeonghan's guts, and the feeling is mutual. A jihan ff again. I had this story in mind for a while but the original characters weren't jihan.

Jungwon grew, and it was like watching Jeonghan resurrect. Every year, the boy's features sharpened. The angles of his cheekbones, the lazy lift of his lashes when he smiled, it was all Jeonghan. Too familiar. Too cruel. Except for the eyes. Those goddamn eyes. They were Joshua's.

As the title says, Joshua thinks he's a liability to Seungcheol while Seungcheol, cannot ever live without Joshua. He'll basically die. Angst but happy ending.
