Amethyst is such a pretty shade of purple. To stare into a pool of such colour, anybody would consider it a blessing. Sadness and guilt can run through a person deep down, but is there such thing to fix it? But only to shatter it again. Once more. Just for once more. Inosuke is a short-tempered young man who grew up in the mountains. He learned about affection and love through his two best friends, Tanjiro and Zenitsu. The women he cared for in his life are dead. Aoi survived the Final Selection, but she thinks of herself as weak and incapable to defeat demons. In turn, she becomes a helper at the Butterfly Mansion and is always attending to the sick and injured. As he spends more time in the Butterfly Mansion, waiting for his best friends to wake up, Inosuke realizes that he gets drawn to Aoi. How is that possible? They fight all the time. "What are you looking at?" Aoi growls. "I use my eyes to look at whatever I want!" Later, seeing Kanao getting together with Tanjiro and Nezuko falling in love with Zenitsu; sometimes Inosuke wonders if a strong man like him doesn't need a woman. He is wrong. He isn't immune to love. Warning: Slow-burn romance. I depict realistic circumstances related to the age of characters, historical period and their respective personalities.
