When U.A. High opened its doors for the first time, everyone wanted to go there. With the entire staff being made of top heroes, both retired ones and ones still working, it was basically guaranteed going there meant becoming a top hero. It's also a place that could attract a lot of villains. The only person that wasn't interested in it was me. I know in today's society, it was almost unheard of to not want to be a hero. I just had to make that mistake in applying to the school. Why would I apply to a school I didn't want to go to? Because my family expected me to be the next top hero. But I'm no hero. Status: Complete. Disclaimer: I do not own the world of My Hero Academia. I only own the story concept and the characters (as no characters from the show show up. Sorry, but this story takes place before then). Warning: strong language, violence (though, not to the scale that the show gets), scary sequences. The amazing cover was made by the wonderful @Jun_Penguin_. The beautiful Sakura Sakai Banner, Kaito Oba, Raiden Yamamoto, and Tami Smith banners were made by the talented @sun_jin The Ollie Davis banner was by me.

'I have a reason to smile... I have a reason to laugh... I have a reason to cry and be mad... but most importantly... I have a reason TO LIVE!' Is what drives our young protagonist.

DISCONTINUED Hikari means light... something I never had PLEASE READ ALL THIS DESCRIPTION :) the first few chapters are so incredibly bad because i wrote them a long time ago but my story is actually alright to read😭 I started this fic when i was 12. i couldnt care less about critique comments bro it was like 5 or 6 years ago when i abandoned this work. - This story starts when izuku is 14. No one knows him Or anything about him But what happens when he's the most wanted vigilante in musutafu? Eraserhead has been tasked with capturing him, purely because he's wanted as a personal companion by a...... rat bear mouse thing? Only to attend the most prestigious hero school around. No one understands why, when clearly, this darned vigilante isn't a child. Or atleast, that's what they think. What happens when his former bestfriend and bully is in the same class? Will romantic and/or platonic sparks fly with him and/or someone else? will izuku rip UA to pieces? or will he rip himself apart piece by piece? disclaimer there WILL be triggering things spoken about in this story so please read at your own risk there will be tws at the start of each chapter :) please don't post hate!! Do not argue aggressively in my comments. Respectful debate apon opinions and beliefs is fine but zero hate is tolerated!

"How many times do you have to see the evidence? How many times must the point be made? We're causing our own extinction. Too many red lines have been crossed, and our home has in fundamental ways been polluted by avarice and political megalomania. Genetic power has now been unleased and of course that's gonna be catastrophic. This change was inevitable from the moment we brought the first dinosaur back from extinction. We convinced ourselves that sudden change is something that happens outside the normal order things like a car crash or it's beyond control like a fatal illness we don't conceive a sudden radical, irrational change as woven into a very fabric of existence. Yet I can assure you, it most assuredly is. And it's happening now. Humans and dinosaurs are not gonna be forced to coexist. These creatures were here before us and if we're not careful they're gonna be here after. We're gonna have to adjust to new threats that we can't imagine. We've entered a new era. Welcome to Jurassic World." -Dr. Ian Malcolm (2018)
