There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know. Y/n was best friends with Aang before and after he was announced the Avatar. She was later made his personal protector and the only reason the monks didn't banish her was because she did her job better than anyone else could. Then after the incident with the iceberg, everything changes. Y/n wakes up to a new world, one where she isn't sure about nor if Aang is safe. Things get even more tricky when she realises that everyone is after the Avatar, weather it be for good or for bad. Put an angry prince into the mix and Y/n doesn't remember how to think straight. "Hey! It's Prince Firecracker!" "Call me that again and I will burn you."

(Y/n) is a earth bender born in the fire nation. Its usually not likely to happen but not only is she a bender of earth she is best friends with the fire lords children. But mai would have to be her best friend. Azula can be a bitch sometimes. And zuko was just so caring until he was banished. He was gone but then he had returned. But (y/n) has always been caring. She will never change.

(Y/N) was a talented fire bender and devoted citizen to the Fire Nation monarchy. Her family was moderately well known and lived in the Fire Nation Capitol, where most nobility lived, as well as the royal family presiding in their elaborate palace. (Y/N)'s life was just about as normal as it could be. Her nation was prosperous and her father was a wealthy war general. She was happy with her uneventful life. That is, until disaster struck. Her father was sent to lead Fire Nation soldiers into battle against Earth Kingdom rebels that were causing havoc amongst the peace. Her fate took a turn and she worried it was for the worst, but had these life-changing events not occurred, would she have ever had the chance to meet the fire prince? ------------------------- I'm not a professional writer, but I do edit each and every chapter to the best of my ability.
