After Player's horrible defeat at the hands of Qwerty, he returns to the lobby not in his usual cheery attitude. Veteran notices this and decides delve further into the matter. This short story is more Veteran focused than Player, but it still has both regardless. I know a few of you asked me if a prequel or a sequel was in the works. Well, I didn't actually think of this story like that until further inspection when proof reading. So yeah, hope you enjoy.

Stoner has done many things that he regrets, but he regrets what he said the most. Everyone hated him, and frankly he deserves it. The horrible things he did while heroin took over his life were things he thought about every single night. He was alone, and he had to deal with the consequences. At least until a certain person calls him.

Ever since he started winning consecutive amounts of games in Friday Night Funkin', Player had been getting distant from his close friends and family, barely revisiting them. Eventually, they got decided he wasn't worth it, and didn't bother trying to contact him. They considered him worth nothing more than a piece of trash, only caring for himself at the end of the day and using others for his own cause. Player didn't realise it at first, but the constant memories of his loss of those around him was starting to build up overtime, and it eventually overwhelmed him. He felt like giving up after a while and he regrets his decisions. If only he could fix everything that went wrong...
