Lucy Hamilton is the best street fighter beside her twin brother. Every one in school knows about her. She isn't the girliest, actually the only girls she is able to put up with is her friend Jessica and her own mother. But what will happen when a new boy Xavier shows up? This is a story about a.. You coulld call it.. A tomboy. Trying to figure out love, friendship, and family in eighth grade... Rylie has always been the girl you would call "tall, strong, and confadant".. She could beat up the quarterback football player if she wanted to, but of course, doesnt. She isn't on very many people's bad sides. Now that one of her best friends sence 6th grade has a crush on her (Charlie) she is confused if she likes him or not. Her best friend Ally's family is techantaly her family. She somtimes even says that Ally's mom is closer to her than her own mom. She doesnt feel like she fits in at her own house. Two of her brothers have ADHD and one has ADD that still lives with her after graduating when Rylie was in 6th grade kinda makes her stressed somtimes (or so people say) but she doesnt notice. Three of her siblings were adopted, (the ones with ADHD and ADD) and one is her acctual brother but lives up in the Upper pinsula of michigan for college. Rylie has a messed up life. But she doesnt know where she'd be without her friends. She doesnt want to mess up her friendship with Charlie.. But She is so confused with love at this time in her life.. What should she do??!?!
