George Beard is a fourth grade student at Jerome Horwits Elementary school. he loves pranks and jokes and to make comic books with his best friend, Harold Hutchins. Harold Hutchins is a fourth grade student at Jerome Horwits Elementary school. he enjoys the same things George does; jokes, pranks, and making comics with George. These two troublemakers dedicated their lives to pranks, not long after they met. Melvin Sneedly is a fourth grade student at Jerome Horwits Elementary school. he loves science, and school, and all things nerdy, and hates George and Harold. though, he hates Harold the most. why, you ask? well read this and find out for yourself. ---------------- NO GxH OR THE BOYS AND MELVIN I know Harold is gay. I'm not erasing him, I'm not homophobic, i stg I just got a bit attached to this idea. I think it would have taken Harold a long time to know he was gay, and even longer to come to terms with it. Going a bit off of my own experience, I think he would have 'crushes' on girls in elementary like all the other boys, only to realize later in life that it may not have been love at all. I, myself, am a lesbian who 'crushed' on a lot of guys before I realized I liked girls and guys are gross, so I know it's not a stretch to assume Harold, who's original media was written in the 90s, would be very similar. Like, I also headcannon Erica as a lesbian, but like..they're in 4th grade, they don't have to know that yet, and it's very unlikely they do. At this point in life, I think everyone was obsessed with having a partner when no one really knew what that meant, it just sounded so adult and cool. I think Harold and Erica are kinda the same, in that they would low key seek a relationship because it's the 'mature' thing to do. Idk, just read it. The first chapter is written before I really thought this through, so any future chapters may look different. Cover art is mine
