Frank has everything. He's good looking, rich and by becoming a well known photographer he's living his childhood dream. But is he really the arrogant prick the media says he is? Gerard doesn't really like the way his life turned out to be. He wanted to be an artist, but his career failed miserably and now he has to work at his mothers cleaning company every now and then to survive. But after his mother got in an accident and is now unable to continue her work outside of the office, it's on Gerard to make up for that. Luckily there is only one client she cleans for herself. Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one. The biggest dilemma in all of this is that Frank slept with his future husband. Now Frank's just got to make sure that the future with him stays intact, but it's not so easy when present day Gerard seems to hate his guts.

Gerard was a young famous artist. No one knew anything about him really except that he was an arrogant rich hermit who had no interest in interacting with anyone beyond selling them his paintings.

After a failed suicide attempt, Frank Iero is placed into an induced coma to prevent any further self harm. While he's asleep, he's visited by what he believes is an angel who sings to him.
