KK Arnold is used to speed-on the court, in the press, in her life. As UConn's quick-thinking, quick-footed point guard, everything about her is sharp, focused, and full of energy. But there's one person who moves at an entirely different pace. And somehow, KK can't stop watching her. Maya Thompson is a soft-spoken journalism student with an academic aesthetic-cardigans, ballet flats, glasses always slipping down her nose, and a tote bag full of pastel highlighters and poetry books. Assigned to cover the UConn women's basketball team for the university paper, Maya doesn't know much about basketball-but she shows up anyway. Every practice. Every game. Sitting cross-legged on the bleachers, typing away, scribbling notes in the margins of her interview sheets, or quietly reading while the players run drills. At first, KK only notices Maya because she's always there. But then she notices how Maya listens-really listens-when she asks post-practice questions. How her voice gets soft when she says KK's name. How she blushes when KK jokes with her. And how her presence, somehow, feels calmer than music, even in a chaotic gym. Their friendship begins with short interviews and awkward thank-yous. But soon it becomes something warmer. Coffee runs after practice. Maya waiting at the edge of the court with her recorder and a shy smile. KK pretending not to search the gym for her during water breaks. And somewhere between buzzer-beaters and backspace keys, a slow, soft love begins to bloom. Tommy has watched his campsite be blown up 3 times in the past month and he's done. He's done with wars, done with violence, and done with fighting. How odd. The great Tommyinnit not wanting to fight anymore. So Tommy sends Ghostbur back to L'manburg permanently and assures him that he'll be back eventually, but Tommy knows that he won't. Tommy smiles as he watches Ghostbur fly away. Tommy goes to live in the Nether with the lava that he loves and no one knows where he went, not even Dream. It's been 3 years and no one's heard anything from Tommy, his exile had just been lifted. Tommy left a note addressed to Ranboo though.

Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
