A love story about the peace that can be found in our darkest moments, and the people that can help us find it. Alessandro Bellini used to possess a perfect life, with a wife and daughter that were the centre of his universe. That was until the enemy made their way into his home, slaughtering his wife and leaving his babygirl scarred for life. After the woman of his heart had gone and in the most violent way, Alessandro's heart broke into an unfixable state. Five years after his world had been shook, Eva is brought into his life. An equally broken girl with a healing kindness behind her shy exterior - but with many dark secrets in her past. Could they ever learn to love one another with innocence or will the poison of their pasts get in the way? ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

<<COVER UPDATE>> For as long as I can remember, I wasn't like other children. From the orphanage where I grew up, they would constantly be teasing me for wanting to explore the forests which bordered the building instead of going out into the city. Sure enough, I felt like I had a raving connection with the woods, the way the trees floated eagerly in the breeze, when wildflowers would blossom in colorful patches, and the way the fresh smell of spring rain would taint the wind. Although, before I had come of age, I had left the orphanage and my snappy caretakers early, striding with barely any caution into the forests. Immediately, I felt more at home than I had ever been. It was uncanny, but fate seemed to lead me to a small cabin in the midst of it all. It was held in a small clearing, so beautifully made from wooden planks that it almost shined in the sunlight. And, as I was tired from the past week I have been traveling (alone and running out of resources to survive) I stepped up to the front door and knocked. And, expected enough, a man answered my pleads for shelter and food, leading me graciously into what I thought was his home. Everything was pleasant for a time. He showed me around, in places I never even knew existed. In spite of it, he had a few ground rules if I wanted to stay under his roof until I was able to get up on my feet again. And, I regret it now, but I grudgingly disobeyed them. And I was nearly killed in the process. But I was saved. He took care of me despite his lingering feelings about something that scared him in the past. Until, I thought that he wasn't so much of a stranger after all. But life has numerous twists and turns that lead you to other paths.. paths that have challenges along the way. He told me about his past, his life before, his family, and most importantly, my future. *************** #1 in "forgotten" (as of April 19, 2023) #4 in "woods" (as of April 21, 2023) #12 in "woodlands" (as of May 3, 2023)

#1 in Lycantrophe #4 Supernatural "Please don't go," I pleaded, grabbing his wrist as he was about to leave again. "Stay. Atleast for tonight." He tilted his face to look at me, his facial features hidden by the darkness again. He comes back every night but it's been a month and he has never allowed me to see his face. It's better this way, he says. The lights needs to be turned off everytime he is here, or else, he won't come. "We've had this talk before, Fleur." He said, his silky voice was enough to make shivers run down my spine. "I have to go." "Why? Why do you have to go?" I asked, my voice loud with anger and determination. Today I felt brave enough to ask this. Up until now his presence was enough for me. But not today, not anymore. I needed more. I craved more. "I can't tell you." He replied. "I should leave now before someone sees me." "Do you love someone else?" I asked, holding my heart in my hands in front of him, which he could break it with a flick of his tongue. "Is there someone else in your life? Someone you love more than me?" My voice cracked as tears filled in my eyes. "I am your mate. Then why do I feel like a mistress? Why do we have to meet in secrecy? Why can't I even see your face? Why do you have to lurk in darkness to meet me? Why can't you just-" No more words came out as my throat felt too chocked by the upcoming tears. I weeped, closing my eyes as tears fell down on my cheeks. His breath was all I could hear for a few seconds. And they were the only signs of reassurance that he was still there. Soon warmth spread around my entire body as a palm came to rest on my cheek, wiping my tears away. Instinctly, I leaned into the warmth, and rejoiced. But the warmth left soon and so did he when I opened my eyes. He left. He left without saying that he loves, without saying that I'm his only one. He just left. Again. -Updates on every Saturday/Sunday-
