Abby is only trying to protect her daughter, but lie after lie stack up and Clarke's trust in her falters. Lexa on the other side, is grief stricken believing Clarke has died, but instead of breaking down as she had with Costia, she builds up a wall to protect herself fueled by the past commanders in her conscience and her heart not wanting to be broken again. If Lexa had to "die" (you'll see why I put that in quotes), I thought Clarke should have been commander, so this book is basically going to be about that. No one ended up stopping her from being Heda in season 4 although Roan is weary, Raven and Clarke find an alternate solution to the radiation wave (if you haven't watched s6 you will be confused), Octavia finally gets to properly grieve Lincoln (a healthy way), a fimilliar face returns to help Clarke, there are some non-show-canon ships in here 😏 (🌊🔧), and of- fucking- course Clexa will be in here they will have there moments and get to be together even when they are worlds apart.

When Clarke and Octavia was just 10 years old their father Jake Griffin found out the Arc was dying so sent his two daughters Octavia and Clarke to the ground to keep them alive!
