Nearly five weeks after the events of Crooked Kingdom, Inej has set sail in her new war ship leaving Kaz to figure out how to function without her, and Wylan and Jesper to keep him from doing something stupid. Only three days after her departure, a mysterious assassin appears seeking revenge on Inej, and Jesper is given a note with an offer for Inej. An offer to join an invisible guild of assassins. Follow the crows as they try to handle one last adventure, the shadows of their pasts, and their plans for the future. (A/N This is mostly a Kanej fanfic.
