"I trusted you," Mirha said in a voice barely above a whisper, trying her best to keep tears from falling down her cheeks, trying and failing. Hadi paused for an entire second. "Well, you shouldn't have. Not my fault," He spoke softly, evenly, his face pale and pinched as if trying to hold back emotions of his own. *** A best friend. A chase gone wrong. An empty promise. Out of control, unexpected run-ins. Out of control, unexpected feelings. And you've got a conundrum. Mirha Qadeer was a simple village girl new to the capital city. She felt like a fish out of water in her university but tried her best to fit in and study hard. She made a few mistakes along the way but she had never thought she would have to pay this high a price in return. Hadi Maher was not your nice, friendly guy next door, nor was he a ruthless bad boy. He was something else entirely. But whatever he was, Mirha Qadeer should never have been a part of it. But she somehow forced her way in, and now he has to make a choice, a choice that will take too much from him either way, a choice that's threatening to undo him. --- There are typos and some grammatical mistakes in the story. "You?" She yells. "You feisty cat, look what have you done? You have teeth or cutters?" "And what the hell did you just do? You scared the hell out of me." She announces. "Because that stupid tongue of yours wasn't letting me act humanely towards you so I need to do that." He grabs her hand and drags her along with him, towards his car. "What do you think you are doing? Leave me." "Get inside the car quickly, " he orders. "I won't. What do you want from me?" "Answers. If you think I will let you go without having the answer to why you ignored me then that won't happen. Now get inside," he says in a low voice, completely opposite of me. "And do you think I will go with you? Never." I remove his hand from my wrist and rushes back but he again grabs my arm. "You jerk! I will shout and tell people you are kidnapping me," I try to punch his chest. He chuckles. "You will say your husband is kidnapping you? Wow!" This time, he succeeds in making her sit inside the car. "Tie the seatbelt, girl." "Unlock the car right now," she stressed in every word. "You are so stubborn," he sighs and bends towards me. As soon as he comes closer to me, I drag myself away from him, barely making myself stick to the door. He looks into my face as his hand grabs the seatbelt and pulls it in front of my body. He leans near to my face, his eyes never leaving mine, "but I can't help.
