UNDER EDITING A little girl, dressed in a pink fluffy frock, approaches two mud-covered twins. She asks them, "Why are you both sad?" In response, the teenage boys smile sweetly and reply, "Because we are dirty, and no one wants to play with us." The innocent little girl frowns at their response, takes their hands, and leads them into the park. Once in the park, she suggests playing volleyball, beaming widely as she tosses her ball to one of the twins and stands with the other. As the twins smile at her and the elder twin nods to start the game, she interrupts, saying, "Oh, no! We are only three, so you would be alone." She frowns, kicking the ground with a sad pout, and then comes up with an idea. She gestures to the boy in front of her to throw the ball and waits until the elder twin knocks it to the younger one. She then runs to the younger twin, letting him knock the ball to the elder. Observing her struggle, both brothers stop the game and give her a confused and worried look. She huffs and catches her breath, her cheeks turning pink due to her effort. She gestures for them to keep playing. "Doll, you will be tired if you play with us like this," the elder twin tells her, clearly concerned. "He's right; you can't play with both teams at the same time," the younger twin adds, glancing at his brother. "No, I can, and I will play with both of you," the little girl declares with a huge tired grin on her face, making their hearts swoon. However, she never knew that she would regret saying these words to them when she grew up into a beautiful woman.

A girl with her heart on her sleeve and boy with a reputation of breaking them. A/N: I started writing with this when I was 13. I love it a lot because I used it as a platform to talk about issues that mean a lot to me and I feel don't get enough attention (especially as I got older and learnt more), but please keep that in mind!! Cover made by: (sorry i haven't gotten your name yet, but i will put it down once i get it!) WARNING: This book deals with issues like self-harm and mental health.
