Dispersé sur une île printanière, l'équipage du Chapeau de Paille tente de se retrouver. En cherchant ses compagnons, Nami tombe sur des pirates peu amicaux... jusqu'à ce qu'un certain « chirurgien de la mort » intervienne. Coincés ensemble pour un temps, la navigatrice et Law vont devoir composer avec une cohabitation aussi imprévisible qu'un changement de vent. La navigatrice découvre un capitaine aussi énigmatique que difficile à cerner. Entre méfiance, curiosité et une étrange complicité qui s'installe peu à peu, Nami réalise que certaines rencontres peuvent bouleverser plus qu'un simple voyage.
