Tess Decray is trapped in the Tribe and that's the centre of a gigantic maze. She and the other girls are trying to look for a way out of it. Tess is one of the Runners who search the maze for any changes, and so far the girls haven't found anything. But when Tess finds an opening that was a dead end before, she explores the unknown that lies behind it. But when she gets back to the Tribe, it is filled with... boys?
