Sarah originally was in cobra kai trained by johnny and sensei kreese. she stuck with johnny even after all the drama going from cobra kai eagle fang and then Miyagi-do even after all that drama somehow, she was never taken seriously due to favoritism her entire life was karate it was always school practice sleep and every single time she would try to prove herself she would basically have just been laughed at in her face. finding out she got cheated on weeks later was enough for her which is when she did research for the years prior of the Sekai Tekai winners which is how she found out about the iron dragons no matter how far she vowed to train with them. which is when she saw some interviews with a sensei. sensei wolf he was quite handsome...
