When you grow up with a paleobotanist as a mother, and a more well known one at that, you tend to grow up surrounded by what she works with. The line of work I've chosen doesn't sit well with her, but it's not her decision what I do with my life. Who is my mother you ask? Well, she's known as Ellie Sattler, but now she's Ellie Degler. Anyway, I'm now twenty-two years old and I've been offered a job at the re-creation of the sole reason behind my mother's darkest nightmares. I mean, who willingly agrees to be the Tyrannosaurus Rex Trainer? None other than me I guess, Charlie Degler.

Melana has worked with the female and only mosasaur, Sage, in the Jurassic World theme park since the aquatic lizard was born. She imprinted on it as if she was its mother. Owen, on the other hand, has worked with the carnivorous raptors since birth also. Melana trains in the water; Owen trains on land. Of course they are very different. So what happens when a girl who has has a thing for prehistoric sea monsters and strawberry cheesecake ice cream is forced to bond with a guy who has a thing for man-eating dinos and sexual references when the catastrophic Indominus Rex breaks loose?

Hadley Braeden is the new Velociraptor trainer at Jurassic World. Her and her partner, Owen Grady, must stick together to survive when the Indominus Rex gets loose and begins to kill anything that moves.
