The thing about war is that perspective matters. One person's revolution could be an empire's downfall. The thing about war is that it consumes everything around you and becomes your entire life, and then, it all comes crashing when it finishes. War takes everything from you. I should know. I've been in two. There were multiple turning points in my life. Finding out I was a Demigod, me coming out of the closet, asking out my best friend, etc. But the biggest one was probably when the war with Dirtface was finally over, and I thought that Annabeth and I could finally settle down. That the Seven could get apartments in New Rome, and Annabeth, Frank, and I would go to university, get jobs, and be happy! I thought we had it all planned out. That's when I saw her.
