2002 - 2006 Smile era. Bert's... disgusting and loud, a rockstar and he fucking knows it. He can have any of these girls who scream his name but he prefers to lick Gerard's face. Which... suits Gerard just fine... no matter how much he complains.

2006 - 2020 So this is an alternative reality for Bert, Gerard and Frank. If we can pretend for a second that everything after 'Especially a Fucking Knife' never happened and this new history was written, then we can have some fun. I wrote a shortfic with this theme in mind, alas I lost the whole damn thing because wattpad decided to fuck me. But there are many more stories to tell and I've decided to create a book for those stories. You can use my 2001-2006 era books as a base for their history and then this as an alternative reality after that big break up. Kind of like the butterfly effect.

My Chemical Romance and The Used have been touring for a few weeks with months to spare, but when Gerard's boyfriend calls up on him every second and when Bert's struggling with addiction things start to get complicated. (Pretty much the only Gerbert fic where Bert isn't portrayed as an abusive asshole) Edit: ok I started this years ago when my writing was terrible and I was fairly young so be warned that the first 5 or 6 chapters probably have a large amount of errors and a pretty juvenile writing style, hopefully I'll go back over those chapters and edit them but for now they're not gr8 so be warned

2006 - 2007 Paralysed Era. There's no such thing as a rehab facility for person addiction. This is what happens when the drug can't let the addict go.
