All was always calm on Takiko Island until Articuno appeared. No one knows why Articuno appeared, nor why Articuno froze over the island. Now the people are trapped in an eternal winter, people tried to vacate the island but the sudden cold caused the seas to be far too dangerous to cross, and the few that tried didn't make it out of the shallows. The skies were an ever-present blizzard so no plane nor Pokemon could fly them out. The people lost hope ...that was except for one girl. yumikoto, a young girl had set out to drive Articuno away and bring an end to the eternal winter.
