This book follows Agent 4 as he goes through Octo Canyon, helping Marie find the Great Zapfish. This book is based on Splatoon 2's hero mode, but it is very different. Also, there will be spoilers for Splatoon 2, so read at your own risk.

He's got strange looking tentacles for hair, he wears gloves, and he doesn't have the eye line that all inklings have, but Jet's parents say it's a birth defect, but is it true? Even with the help from an octoling, a secret agent, and a horseshoe crab, will Jet find Echo, or will he learn a hidden "family" secret?
