Steve Rogers loved his life. But then the war started. And Bucky left. That's when he really started hating his life. He wanted to fight along side his best friend and his country to win the war. He longed for it since he was young. But because of his size, and his conditions, he couldn't. He lost Bucky during the war. Even after he thought he'd found him, to have him by his side for good. Steve wakes up in an unfamiliar place. He realizes the year and panics. Even if Bucky some how survived his fall, he'd have aged and died by now, or at least be close to it. He's battling the Winter Soldier on the bridge. His mask falls off. And it's his long lost friend. His long lost love. It's Bucky. But he doesn't know himself or his friend. Bucky disappears. Steve is desperate to find him. He's got to be out there still. He can't be gone. set in the 1940s / 2010s set in the MCU timeline i do not own the characters in this story. once you read the a/n after the prologue this will make more sense.

Word Count: 8950 Four months after the devastating events of the invasion of New York, Loki returns to Midgard stating that he was sent to repent for his crimes by helping fight the Avengers' wars. They are sceptical at first, but eventually agree to take him in for as long as Asgard deems it necessary. However, they soon start to realise that something seems off about their new teammate. Why is he suddenly so docile and quiet? Stuff gets uncovered and things go south like they always do when there's a chance for them to. It appears Loki isn't and was never the man they made him out to be. But can the God of Lies be believed? This is probably one of my favourite stories so far.
