Two soldiers, both struggling to separate themselves from their titles and trying to find peace off the battlefield. Perhaps they can find it in each other.

I seem to get a lot of inspiration to start things, but never to finish them. Perhaps if I gave some ideas to you guys, you could carry on the story to the finish. I get inspired from many different things, be it an image, an art piece, another story, a movie or a song. Any use of such things is not owned by me. I own the writing itself, plus any characters, settings, etc. that are created for the purpose of the prompts. Nothing else.

"And they were roommates." Hiccup Haddock just wants people like him -- people born with unnatural abilities -- to be treated like everyone else. His mission as the infamous Night Fury is simply to rid the world of the people who are trying to destroy his kind. Unfortunately, the Deadly Nadder, the beloved hero, keeps getting in his way. Things would be so much simpler if she would just mind her own business. He was just trying to help. Astrid Hofferson wants the same thing as the Night Fury. She's trying to build a better image for people like her, but the Night Fury's violent methods are really making it difficult. She honestly couldn't blame him; sometimes she just wanted to punch the authorities in the face, but that would hardly help their already precarious situation. Everyone has their own story. Everyone's a hero in their own mind.
