But nothing's truly perfect, and over the years his family broke apart along with his sanity. By the time he was 27, he had lost all hope in the world, nearly blowing up a motel and himself. Before he could, he broke down and was sent to a mental institution nicknamed Limbo. . . . Alex never knew his birth family, he was too young to remember them. On Wilbur's 13th year in the institution, he was sure he would just be stuck in this Limbo, left to wait until he finally died, no one could help him and it seemed that no one wanted to help him.
