With the two Superheroes' identities revealed to each other they become closer than co-workers for justice. And soon Clark has another feeling in his stomach when he's around Bruce... Love.

Kai gets sick, and even though he is the master of fire, a fever drastically overcomes him. Causing headaches, and outburst of fire, it's not any normal illness. What happens then? Will his mind get warped from all this? Who will find him first? Someone takes advantage of this and will do everything to get what they want, but who's leading them? __This does have some Lavashipping towards the end, so please be aware of that if it makes you uncomftorable. __This also goes off the script a bit from the fever, just focusing on aftermaths. I've ready many stories where one of the ninja had become a slave. Well, I've never seen nor heard one where Kai was a slave. Kai was born into slavery, his mother wasn't Maya, the wife of Ray Smith. No, his mother had been a teenage girl, only seventeen years old. When she had Kai, he was ripped from her arms and she was taken away. Now when Kai turned sixteen, the ninja busted up the camp he was in. After finding hem, Wu took Kai in the rehabilitateand to help reunite Kai with his mother. But Kai holds a secret, one he fears he'll be punished for if he shows. Follow Kai in his journey as he learns that not all people are bad, gains bonds greater than ones he's lost. And learning to finally let go and let the fire burn.

Kai had always been jealous of Lloyd. After all that kid had become the green ninja. Deep down in his heart,Kai had always kept a secret hatred for Lloyd; he should've been the green ninja, not Lloyd. Now that he had the Staff of Elements he could feel those forbidden emotions bubble back up to the surface.....
