Vivian Louise has been watching The Great Mouse Detective ever since she was first introduced to it and grew to love the character named Basil of Baker Street. But during a shopping trip, an elderly woman gave her a strange sapphire necklace and warned her that nothing bad should happen on the necklace. But what she didn't expect is that she was suddenly transported into another world and it was a rather familiar world that she knows. She meets two familiar mice who took her in after Vivian helped little Olivia.
