Hayden 'Hiccup' Haddock is the school nobody. Alone and abused both at school and at home, he's relied on solely his wit and snappy comebacks. Having no one to turn to, he barely makes it through each passing day. Scrawny, scarred, and starving, he forces himself through every day. He calls himself Mr. Misunderstood, though everyone else calls him fishbone, or rat meat. Amber 'Astrid' Hofferson is Ms. Popular, getting along with everyone except for people like Hiccup. She refuses to acknowledge he exists, just like everyone else. When a new kid comes to school and befriends Hiccup as well as everyone else, worlds change and lives collide people never thought possible.

ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern.
