A story that encapsulates all the question marks never explained and gives an ending to each of the characters who in one way or another, have remained in our hearts. Book 3 of "Against the Odds"

Book 2 of 3 Sanem has one fear and that is to somehow lose Can again to a threat that is yet unarmed an unknown. She will do whatever necessary to protect him, even if it means to tear her heart in half. She will never betray him and when it would seem that his love for her had died on a mountain of suspicion she would bury the pain in her heart if that would save his life. To live without him in order to save him would mean she would have have to declare it in open court. It could an empire apart. Can will not allow another tragedy to befall Sanem. She has gone through hell and back and he will kill anyone who thinks they can take her from him. He will trust her even when his eyes deceive him. Even at his own peril. He will never let her go. To live without her would mean to die a slow death. The Empire and the people dependent on it will surely do without him but he could never do without her. Huma's reach beyond the grave was her final revenge. A house in chaos, a family destroyed and a secret long held. These finally contrive and come together in one person. He has lived his whole life for the moment he could claim wha belonged to him. Tragedy would have its day first but then their would be a reckoning and he would see to it that the one who had ordered it be done would watch as all that mattered to him slowly was taken away. He never anticipated her. She could ruin it all. Her combination of stubbornness, loyalty, faith and love could tear down his carefully constructed walls. Sacrificing her had never been the plan. He would have a life altering decision to make. Our Albatross and Phoenix have set their course and we will follow them as they live a Legendary Love. Inspired by my love for Erkenci Kus and it's main characters Sanem Aydin and Can Divit and the incredible actors that portrayed them Demet Ozdemir and Can Yaman.

This is my version of Erkenci Kus from episode 1 through whenever their story is concluded. I felt each episode needed tweaked a little. They made Sanem weak and vulnerable. She is a strong and witty woman. She may be young and naive, but she isn't stupid.

This was written way back in March 19. Before EK finished. Its what we all imagined and knew we'd never see.

What if...Sanem had gone to Izmir with Yigit that night. And what if....Can had boarded that plane for the Balkans with Polen.. Where would there lives had gone.... All the problems that had plagued Can and Sanem all those years had forced them both to live their lives apart. Can left the agency, returning to his wandering ways trying to heal a broken heart. Sanem had given everything for Can and the agency, but now she was forced to live her life alone, to struggle with the decisions she had made..

Following a terrible accident, Can Divit loses his memory. He wakes up and there is a stranger beside his bed, Sanem, her eyes full of love and hope. Hope that he crushes in an instant when he asks "Who are you?" Two years of his life disappeared, he tries to reconcile with the man he woke up as and the man Sanem loves. However, he can't ever imagine giving up his freedom for love. So is his amnesia a blessing in disguise, a way to claim back his life and love of freedom or an error he has to correct. A clash between two men in one body. Sanem's Can, who would give up everything for his love. The one ready to get married, settle down and start a family. Can Divit, the lonely Albatross who values his freedom above all, dedicated to his camera and spreading his wings discovering all corners of the world. Falling in love with Sanem isn't the problem, the question is will she accept this version of him. Or will she choose the memories of the past over the new memories they could create together. How does Sanem cope with these two men? Will she fight to get her Can back or try to understand the Albatross a little better. She is sure of only one thing, whoever he is today she will always love him. Her Can or the new Can. Sanem has to decide whether or not she is ready to go down the path of new discovery with the Can who doesn't remember her. However, the memories of their past love are so important than her, maybe too important. Will she stick around or save herself the heartache. The story will begin as an intercept between episode 46 and 47 then pick up at episode 51 before the reunion. Enjoy!
