My heart pounded in my chest as I ran... I ran through the corridors that seemed to stretch endlessly. Blinking back tears that blurred my vision, I desperately sought an escape. If only I could get out and get the cops to help us. My trembling hand opened a large, imposing door, hoping it would lead to safety. But as the door swung open, my legs gave way beneath me and I collapsed to the floor in horror. Before me lay a nightmarish scene, piles of lifeless bodies stacked one atop the other, limbs and body parts strewn around the room in a macabre display. The overpowering stench was suffocating and I felt a wave of nausea wash over me. My mind froze, as I couldn't tear my eyes away from the gruesome bloodbath in front of me. In the next moment, I heard his sinister voice behind me, "caught you," as he amused sending chills down my spine. He effortlessly lifted me in his arms, his hold tight and unyielding. Though I wanted to struggle but my body was still with horror I just witnessed. He walked down the corridor, ordering someone to close the door that I had unwittingly opened, sealing me in this hellish nightmare. Hearing the door close, I snapped back to reality, my entire being trembling with terror. "Don't worry, love, you'll soon get used to it," he said placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. His callous words worsened my trembling... his kiss haunting, a stark reminder of the danger I was in, I felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness. My heart sank as he reached for the very door of the room, I had escaped from a minute ago. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I urge you to read the story responsibly, as it contains a lot of triggering scenes that many of you might find uncomfortable. After the story is completed, I'll edit it and will specify warnings ahead of a triggering scene. Till then... HAPPY READING!!!

Joleen hopes to forget everything on the fringes of space. Even if she decided to turn back home, everyone who knows her back on Earth will be dead, and that's probably for the best. There are only three others on the all-but abandoned space station, but they don't ask too many questions, so Jo settles down for a long, quiet life drifting in the stars. Until an unadvised manned mission brings back an alien in the form of an obsessive, instinct-driven demon. None of them are trained for this. Note from the Author: For those who don't know, I am not a sensitive noob when it comes to criticism. How to handle criticism and, more importantly, how to use it is something they teach you in college as well as something you figure out when you're studying writing. So, if you lot have anything to point out, such as plot holes or 'this loser's character makes no sense, destroy him,' please let me know. I appreciate your feedback. For reals. Or is it fo shizzle?

"I've been taught that girls have no value, and he's the only one who assures me that I do." Soleil is a girl. A young woman. A female. She couldn't hate it more, because in her society that cursed gender makes her expendable. The war that was wrought on Earth years ago destroyed society, and men almost went extinct. Repopulation is the propriety, even if it means marrying a man with 8 other wives to become a baby making machine. When she meets an enormous alien man through a window, she slowly comes to realize that she is meant for more. She sneaks away every night after that to meet him, finding herself falling for all 7 feet of him.... even if she can't understand a thing that he says. Fray has come from Rytaria to collect human females, the salvation of his race. As soon as he meets his precious Soleil, he knows he has to have her. Little does she know that Fray will do whatever it takes to make her his mate, and he will worship the very ground she walks on.
