It's Friday the 13th. Magnus is late for work. Again because of his cat. He's locking up his apartment when he gets a phone call that he's been fired. Alec was supposed to move into his new apartment that day, but the landlord left him the wrong key. Alec has been sitting on the stairs outside the apartment for an hour and a half. This is the moment when their paths cross. NOTE: So it all started when I saw this picture. I immediately put aside the other 2 stories I was writing, and started this one. Detective Alec Lightwood desperately wants to solve a case but he's without leads. CEO Magnus Bane needs to get himself out of trouble, but has no way to do it. They both need help. Alec sighed dramatically loud, rolled over on his back again only to pull the duvet over his head. It earned him another chuckle from Magnus. "You know you're living on borrowed time. Izzy won't respect your privacy forever." Alec sat up, leaning against the headboard knowing Magnus was right. "I know. I-, I just like what we have. I like that you're just mine, and mine alone. Once they find out, I don't know when this..." he gestured between them, "...will be possible again."

This is a story about Alec and Magnus finding each other and falling in love . This story is AU but Magnus and Alec are still very much warlock and shadowhunters . But I love the alpha omega universe fanfics so I am trying my hand at it so please be gentle but completely honest .added a new tag because I don't feel like there are enough baby fanfictions even if it's adoptions or coming up with a way for them to have kids so I hope guys still enjoy this story . Also I'm not writing smut because I fear I may not be good at it .
