Jess Knight likes her freedom. Despite being in jail for about sixty-five percent of her teenage life, she is in complete control. But there's only one problem: she doesn't know her purpose. One day, everything changes. Her reputation as the youngest and most connected solo street criminal gets her noticed by the illustrious crime society known as the Maryland Mafia, who offer her the deal she literally can't refuse. That same day, Jess is arrested by a junior officer at the downtown precinct. Something about Nick Bronson transforms the way Jess sees the world and she can't let him go. But is dating a cop the wisest move for a teenage criminal about to commit the dirtiest crime there is? One thing's for sure; life as a jailbird isn't always as free as it seems. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This story is one I've been writing on and off between the Rouge series, and I wanted to share it with you guys. It's a bit rough and still not completely finished, but I felt guilty for delaying Consuming Fire. What's it really about? Think Veronica Mars and the PCH Bikers, only instead of following the law, Jess breaks it. Cover by Isabella Modra

Well, this is my story as a teen Christian. I love Jesus but I don't like how I am judged by adults about it. It's common topics such as forgiveness, temptation, betrayal, love. This story is very much non-fiction, it's about me and what has happened in my life with no exaggerations.

Meet Alyssa Bent, she's a nerd. But not your typical one. She likes to read, but her world doesn't totally revolve around books. She's not shy nor does she stutter when someone tries to corner her. She can stand up to anyone provided it doesn't involve attention. Attention is the only thing that scares her, and like always, there's a reason behind it. Maintaining a balance of grades and producing comebacks with sarcasm dripping from each word isn't the only talent she possesses. Enter Aaron Pelt, the most popular boy at Gradient High. Girls fawn over him. Well, who wouldn't? He's the star soccer player, after all. With the looks no less than a model, he has no problem maintaining his status on the social ladder. He maintains a cool aura around him all the time. They both go to Gradient High, a school that is divided into two social groups: the popular ones and the nerds. The popular ones are the wealthy snobs and the nerds are the ones who practically are their slaves. At Gradient High, these two groups can never get along! Like Ever! But who knew that the most popular guy and the nerd would actually be best friends? That's right! Alyssa and Aaron have been best friends since their diaper days. But at school, they are forced not to acknowledge each other's presence because if they did, Aaron's reputation might suffer and Alyssa may be subjected to something she hates the most: attention. While Aaron may not know, the reason why Alyssa hates attention might be even more than she lets him believe. A reason that might even force her to throw away her future dream. So will Aaron be able to break through the walls and push her out even when he has the pressure of popularity and the school status weighing him down? Get ready to expect the unexpected. You might want to change your definition of clichè after reading...... #1 Humour- 08.01.16 (Cover by: -infinities) *NOT EDITED SO KINDLY BEAR WITH ME!

Bridal shop owner Amber Davis dreaded the moment she'd run in to Parker Robinson while working on his sister's wedding. She'd spent every summer in the Hamptons with his family as a kid, fantasizing about kissing him. But she's shocked to discover that the confident boy who'd given Amber her first taste of love has become a man who mocks its very existence. Parker can't believe the girl who used to follow him around has grown into a beautiful woman—one with some very naughty ideas when she fits him for his tux. But Amber also knows why he's shut everyone out of his life. She's not the kind of woman Parker gets involved with…even if he can't keep his hands off her. Amber doesn't do one-night stands or casual hookups, but she's wanted Parker long enough to make him an exception—especially if she can convince him he needs love in his life, too. ----------------------- Get in the bridal spirit with this prequel novella to the fabulous new Harlequin KISS contemporary romance series, The Wedding Season! #6 Spiritual. Wattpad Featured. The battle for life and the winning of love, from World War 1 to the Millennium. A collection of (very) short real life stories and one or two poems. 'Waiting for Fred Astaire,' 'No Child of Mine,' and other memories were given to me by wonderful women and men who taught me everything that matters to me now. They told and retold, telling without saying, until I began to understand. The lesson never ends. I remember, and loving them, learn still. Thank you so much for reading. Your comments and thoughts are so welcome and such a great help. As I got older I simply thought these memories would die with me. I can't believe they are now being read in over 90 countries! It is really amazing. Thank you again :))) Keep in touch. Follow for more news and stories. I'll put the kettle on. Come back soon:) © @RosyCarmelina all rights reserved. I found the beautiful cover picture on the wiki creative commons page which feels just like the right mood for the love that cooks these stories.
