The pups were playing as they always did and Rocky wasn't feeling well so he didn't play with the other pups. After a short chat with Ryder, Rocky goes for a walk. While on his walk, Rocky hears Mayor Humdinger discussing his plan with the cat look a-likes. Rocky runs back home and tries to tell the everyone, but no one believes him. He tries to explain it to Ryder to try and get everyone to go with him to help defeat the evil mayor, but no one goes with him. So Rocky takes matters into his own paws. Rocky tells Ryder and the pups that he is going to stop Humdinger and no one believes in him, Rocky puts his life in danger, will he save Adventure Bay... This story is based off of a dream I had that made me sad along with personal problems in my life. The story involves Zuma, Rocky, and Marshall and how Zuma struggled to speak up as the bond between Rocky and Marshall became stronger and stronger until Zuma thought it was too late despite the fact that Rocky might unknowingly have had a stronger bond with Zuma first and didn't realize it until Zuma spoke up a different way. The theme of the story is that you need to have the courage to speak up to your friends about how you feel about your friend, and then speak up to your friend about how you feel about him or her because good could come out of it.
