Chuuya leaned forward and he lightly pecked Dazai on the lips as he sealed their contract. Chuuya could hear the others coming for him. He didn't have much time anymore. Chuuya leaned next to Dazai's ear and he whispered softly. Whenever you feel scared or alone... call my name... remember Dazai you are the only one who can call on me... I am yours faithfully now.

Vampires and abilities exist in this world. Dazai Osamu, a well known Vampire works with the Armed Detective Agency in Yokohama. Lately there has been a case of a vampire attacking humans at night. During this case he meets a man named Nakahara Chuuya. Dazai's mistake was falling for a human, knowing it put Chuuya in harms way. Will Dazai be able to solve the case in time? Will he be able to protect Chuuya? or will it all be too late in the end?

"Good morning." Chuuya smiled. "Good morning." Dazai smiled, rubbing his back. "You're up early. Everything okay?" "Yeah. I'm good. Aki woke me up." Chuuya chuckled. "But that's okay. I figured you'd be hungry after your overnight shift." "I could definitely use a hot cooked meal. Instant ramen is okay. But it definitely is absolutely nothing compared to your cooking." The alarm was blaring. Shit, how could he forget to turn that off? It was one of his rare days off and he definitely did not want to be woken up by his alarm. The man rolled over and he turned off the alarm and groaned. He nuzzled back into his pillows and was slowly starting to drift off to sleep, but was soon startled back awake by a whine, and the start of little cries. He rolled over and pulled the small figure close. "Ah, I'm sorry. Did the alarm wake you?" Oda says patting his little back as the baby sniffled. Oda started to hum and he laid the baby on his chest and gently rubbed his back as he hummed. Oda smiled as the baby started to go back to sleep, he smiled. The baby was truly a blessing, after losing everything. He was happy to have one precious thing that he loved, that kept him on his feet. Oda stopped humming as he realized his little one fell back asleep, and he held him close as he drifted back off to sleep himself.

"My..." Dazai said with his hands raised. "How smart you are, Great Detective Nakahara Chuuya." Chuuya narrowed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows. "Drop the jewel, slowly. And turn around. Chuuya held the ticket in his hand tightly and he looked at the destination on it. He couldn't be in Yokohama any longer pretending it was all fine... knowing... knowing how they killed his fiance's best friend. How they... how they... murdered Dazai. Dazai hasn't been home in weeks. Chuuya waited. He waited for his return. But his alpha never came home and he knew the more and more he waited, the more everyone was suspecting he had something to do with Dazai's disappearance. That's why Chuuya purchased a bus ticket. He bought a new phone with no ties to his previous life. He knew Dazai could easily find him if he was still out there. Chuuya packed his bags and he left. He had to... it was for their safety.
