Christmas was coming and he was still struggling for money as most of it was now the property of his ex-wife. It didn't help that Anderson had been mocking him all week by persistently playing "Sweet Caroline" on his old cassette player every morning. The only thing Greg Lestrade had to look forward to was the "Dinner party" he had been invited to by a Mr Sherlock Holmes. It was undoubtedly going to be awful but it was still something to look forward to. Tired and fed up, Lestrade picked up his suitcase and left for his small, one room flat. Like a day of homicides was going to lighten his mood.....

She invites her once adversary but now friend Draco to stay for the weekend and he brings along his Godfather Severus whom she's not seen since he was exonerated from war crimes and taken to hospital after his near death experience at the hands of Voldemort's snake Nagini. Out walking one day the pair come across Hermione's parents living in a cottage on a hillside. This wouldn't have been so odd but Hermione had witnessed her parents death at the end of the war. Her and Severus, with the help of Harry and Draco need to find out who these people really are and what's going on. Dum dum dummmmmm. Severus Snape survived the war to everyone's surprise. He remained the Headmaster of Hogwarts with Minerva's help and offered for every 7th year to repeat their year if they wanted. If not, they were to graduate anyway. Neville, Luna, Draco, and Hermione went back while Harry and Ron decided to go into the Auror world. Hermione and Ron were doing okay as a couple however Ron doesn't like the fact that Hermione is so close to Snape. As Head Girl, she comes up with a new program to help out the teachers. 7th years are to teach one class a week for the younger students so the teachers could have an extra break. The new program forces Headmaster Snape and Hermione to work in close quarters for the year.
