Just some headcanons I've found and wanted to share it with y'all!!

Donatello had noticed his health declining when he was 13, but he didn't bother to tell anyone. He gave up on even the thought of telling someone after just a week. He tried to handle it alone, but as it got worse, he started resorting to more and more serious attempts at solutions until he was replicating psychiatric medications to treat his depression and anxiety. It was a lot to manage on his own, especially while trying to hide it from family, go on missions, and keep up with his schedule for inventions at the same time. Could he handle it on his own? (any medical information provided is mostly based on my own experiences with different physical and mental health problems as well as how they were handled. Specific symptoms of medications may not occur for everyone, it just occurred for me.)
