jay's my best friend, we were both in relationships. relationships that were going perfect, except for the fact that our partners were always busy with something, such as work. youd think our relationships were going perfect, until that night. i wish i could've erased the memory, but if i did that then i wouldn't really know the truth, would i? Jay was kidnapped and the Ninja finally get a lead and they do find Jay just... not the way they were expecting there's a bigger piece to the puzzle. a bigger more dangerous piece that is going to destroy the entire city if they don't stop it (Jay and Cole centric - written before I watched seabound - bruiseshipping)

After the events with Morro, spirits no longer had a realm to be sent to, forcing the first spinjitzu master to return to ninjago to deliver a simple yet eternal mission to the ninja team due to their previous careless actions. the ninja are now immortal but their job is no longer to protect from other outside threats, but forever are cursed to roam the land, banishing spirits to either Takamagahara or Yomi and Jigoku. To do this job they are given new abilities that they must learn to use to thair advantage along with other ghost hunting equipment or methods as spirits are now impossible to see with the naked eyes for most human beings. this story follows the ninja, spacificaly Kai and Jay as they not only have to discover, face fears and catch ghosts that can be incredibly violent but deal with thair feelings about each other as well on top of learning to use thair new found powers.
