(This is a rewrite/alternate universe of season 3 and the beginning of my headcanon series!) Kion now scarred and fighting for his life after the battle for the Pride Lands and the defeat of Scar; his friends desperately trying to bring him to his only hope of survival, a mystical and far-off place called the Tree of Life and a certain member of the group holding onto a long kept secret that had arisen more from the potential loss they may face before their journey is complete. Follow along with the Lion Guard as they make this journey of life and death, determined to keep their friend alive no matter the cost. Will they stay true to their mission, or will they falter when Kion starts to become something he's not and will a long-kept childhood secret finally be revealed when faced with a lone cheetah and a future lioness Queen?

A coalition of Cheetahs facing the loss of a good friend at the paws of a rogue Lion Pride is at breaking point. AU. Arrangements are being made for the Pride Lands' animals to journey with Kion back to the Tree of Life to witness his union with the love of his life, Queen Rani. While everyone was happy for the King-to-be, Fuli, his loyal Cheetah friend since childhood, couldn't understand why she has a hard time feeling happy for her best friend. With questions soon filling her mind on how she actually felt towards Kion, Fuli races against time looking for answers and find out why her heart can never be still when she's with the Lion she holds dear. My version of the ending of The Lion Guard.

When Kion runs away from home, Fuli, and his friends set out to search for him, they eventually give up and let the lion find his own way back. Kion then meets a golden colored lioness cub, about the same age as him, named Kamaria. They both end up being lost in an unknown place, and are stuck together with each other, until they can find their way home. The two hate each other, for a long while and are too paranoid to even be around each other, but soon enough they begin to develop a strong bond with one another, only to realize the two of them are somehow related to each other as the outcome. Will Kion make it back home to the pridelands? And back to Fuli? Find out when you read Season 2, of Unexpecting Love, Stuck Together. A fun adventurous, and entertaining story, filled with romance, friendship, and many twists and turns!

Happy (early) Halloween. Here's a little AU special thing. *Note: this isn't canon to any of my works, it's just an edgy AU idea I had and wanted to write about it* While traveling through the forest, Kion is starting to lose control. The Tuliza blossoms that were supposed to help calm him down were now starting to lose their effect on him too. Worst of all, Bunga's assumptions of Kion becoming evil are starting to come true. Though Fuli still denies this, believing that her friend knows better. But then a fight ensues between her and Kion and when he finally snaps out of his rage, Fuli had already been killed. Out of guilt and shame, he runs away from his friends and gets trapped in the tunnels. Will the Lion Guard save him, or will they leave him? Could this really be the end of Kion and his Guard's long-lasting friendship? (Dedicated to CheetahpawTheFastest)

When Kion is faced with a mysterious illness, Queen Rani becomes depressed at the fact that the one she loves might die and is unable to attend her royal duties. With the crown entrusted to her close friend, Fuli does her best to keep the Rani and Kion's kingdom at peace. One night Rani runs away to be alone but the next morning she is found dead. All animals turn to Fuli to guidance but she can barely cope with the death of her friend as she desperately tries to find a way to save Kion which can only be found in her memories. The pair must take on the challenge of leading the kingdom without Rani for neither of them can do it alone. They must overcome any challenge they are faced with as well as learn to work together as a king and queen should. Despite the many challenges, Kion and Fuli try to hide any unwanted feeling towards the other as well as their friends as they soon discover the cause of Rani's death is more than what meets the eye.
