Dream cursed under his breath. There was light. No, many lights! Vibrant green spikes of light that raced to space against time itself and faded into deep, elusive magentas and dark reds. The colors danced over their heads, spreading in patters like that of the sand of the sea floor over the landscape. An aurora borealis had appeared.
