hello i am your professor, and i will be teaching you about the political beliefs, history, music, and fashion styles of many alternative subcultures i will also talk about how to "start" entering your chosen subculture by recommending music and how to get clothing affordably (hint: thrifting and altering clothes yourself) i myself am a goth/punk so i will probably have better information on those two than other alt subcultures such as emo, scene, heavy metal etc. feel free to message me personally if you want more info or have any questions! anyways hope you enjoy! completed subcultures: Chapter 1 - Punk Chapter 2 - Goth Chapter 3 - Emo Chapter 4 - Scene Chapter 5 - Kidcore Chapter 6 - Heavy Metal Chapter 7 - Grunge

I've seen that recently there has been a rising in punk culture again, and this made me think that there might also be a rising in Riot Grrrl culture! Commonly I've seen lots of people have the beliefs of riot grrrl (which is a feminist movement started in the 90's) but not know where to start. That's where I want to begin this, since riot grrrl is a music based alternative subculture that's what I'll be making this book about. I'll be going down a list of both modern and older riot grrrl bands!
