Buck has a secret. Nobody knows what buck is trying to hide about his past. What happens when that secret is threatening to escape. How will the team react if they found out who he really is? That description kinda sucked so basically buck was a victim of child abuse in a cold case and the team may or may not find that out. Also, buck is trans in this story because I can't find any other story where he is trans so I decided why not. TW: child abuse

Eddie has seen a lot of scars and has some of his own. He knows the pain they cause is often both physical and emotional. He knows a lot about them, but not as much as he thinks. Buck's scar is still a mystery to him.

They weren't bad people, just bad parents. God, he hated when Maddie said that, he hated even more hearing it parroted back through Chimney's mouth, and he especially hated the revelation of what had been dubbed the "deep dark Buckley family secret." But then again, how much could he really be upset with Maddie for holding onto a family secret, especially when he was still holding onto his own.

Eddie has spent his whole life trying to live up to his parents' expectations. He was used to them telling him he's a terrible parent. But saying that to Carla and, God forbid, Buck? Now that was crossing the fucking line.
