In this feature, I highlight three articles that establish the foundation for leaderful practice. In a leaderful world, everyone can be involved in leadership, not just sequentially, but collectively (all-together) and concurrently (at the same time). The building blocks of this approach are outlined in the "four C's." Thereafter, I summarize an irreverent piece that was initially published in the Academy of Management Executive in 2004. I have revised it slightly and am presenting it in two parts. The first part looks at leadership development from a traditional ‘training’ viewpoint. The second part introduces, call it leader’ful’ development, from a work-based learning viewpoint. The last article, also a summary in this case from the Journal of Leadership, Accountability and Ethics, makes the ethical case for leaderful practice, arising from its democratic orientation, which in turn evolves from its focus on dialogue and meaning making. I hope you enjoy this brief excursion into the world of leaderful practice.

A hitman, a hottie and a dog...what could go wrong? As a professional hit man, Will Collier has more secrets than most. But on a sweltering Texas night, the lives he's taken rank second place to the love he'd like to be making with a sensual Bohemian beauty. Sabrina Walker is intimately familiar with the havoc Cupid can wreak. She's determined that love will never seduce her again, until she meets Will Collier and discovers that some secrets are better when shared. Warning: This book contains a spunky, plus-sized heroine, a sassy Beagle named Scamp, and a sexually frustrated hitman who can't figure out what women want (then again, what man can?). -------- For the curious: NAILED is about Will's brother, Wynn. :D

Far From Perfect. That's what I am. It's what I've always been. How do I even begin to see myself as anything different when all I've ever been is the fat girl? I just want to be loved and accepted. It's all I've ever wanted. And all I've ever needed. I didn't think it was possible to have either of those until I met Nate Carter. Nate swooped into my life like a wrecking ball, rattling the very walls I built around myself to keep anyone from ever getting in. And without me realizing it, he knocked them all down one by one and did what no one was ever able to do. He taught me to see me. The real me. But will that be enough to keep what is growing between us alive? × Highest Rankings × #1 in Bodypositive #1 in Selfacceptance #2 in Bodyimage #2 Bodyimageissues #2 Self-esteem #6 Firstkiss #13 Outcast
