With Amity being absent from all the action, what with her broken foot being in the way, Luz decides to focus her attention and tend to her friend. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide.
